Pallets come in a variety of shapes, mainly including the following:

Flat pallets: This is the most widely used type of pallet, which occupies almost the vast majority of the pallet market. Flat pallets can be classified into single-sided type, single-sided use type, double-sided use type and wing type according to the tabletop; they can be classified into single-way fork entry type, two-way fork entry type, four-way fork entry type, etc. according to the forklift fork entry method; they can be classified into wooden, steel, plastic, composite materials and paper according to the material.

Column pallet: This type of pallet is designed with steel columns at the four corners and connected by crossbeams to form a stable frame. It is particularly suitable for irregularly packaged goods and can improve loading and unloading efficiency.

Box pallet: Box pallets are equipped with side panels on all four sides, and some are also equipped with top panels to form a closed box. This pallet has a sturdy structure and is suitable for goods that need to be waterproof and dustproof.

Wheel pallet: There are four wheels at the bottom of the wheel pallet, which allows the goods to be moved over a short distance, transported by themselves, or rolled on and off. This type of pallet is often equipped with wheels in the warehouse cage to facilitate loading, unloading and movement.

‌Specialized pallets‌: These pallets are designed for specific goods or industry needs and have special functions and structures, such as flat glass container pallets, tire-specific pallets, oil drum-specific pallets, etc.

‌Skateboard pallets‌: This type of pallet has wing panels and is often used to handle, store or transport goods or products in the form of unit loads. There are many types of skateboard pallets, such as single-wing skateboards, opposite-side double-wing skateboards, and adjacent double-wing skateboards.

‌In addition, pallets are made of a variety of materials, including wood, plastic, steel, composite materials, etc. Wooden pallets are the most widely used, and plastic pallets have developed rapidly in recent years, especially in the case of tight wood resources, and their development space is greater.
